As everyone I know is aware I like cooking. Now that we have a flat in Salta and are taking fun classes at Color Mais Restaurant once a week I can now realize my dream of having a food blog.
The markets here a full of fun and strange things so I thought I'd share some with you.

coca tea is a great digestive not just the precursor of that funky white powder - I promise! I love that this one is labeled "export quality"

Katrina like cooking..... I'm surprised! I'll be very interested to read what sort of things you learn to cook. Does the Coca tea taste like chocolate??

RE: sheep with tails I think that English sheep get them lopped too, maybe it's only the colder countries that let them grow free.

Sadly it's not so tastey. Coca leaves are quite bitter on their own if you chew them like locals do (sort of like what you see people doing with Betel in SE Asia). The tea tastes grassy like lots of herbal infusions but on the bitter end of the spectrum
